Past seasons have seen Jade perform twice at New York’s Symphony Space in the Thalia Theatre, in duo with renowned pianist Ursula Oppens, alongside Cuban composer Tania Leon at the grand opening concert for Harlem Stage’s new Gatehouse theatre, and in an outreach capacity for the Van Cliburn Foundation. She has served as an artist-in-residence with the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival in Washington and the Debose Music Festival in Louisiana. Her interest in Historically Black Colleges and Universities has taken her to both Stillman College and Oakwood College in Alabama. Eclectic performances included the premiere of Dance Steps (written for Jade) by Susie Ibarra at Joe’s Pub in New York and an appearance with her new ensemble, the Collide Trio, at the University of Chicago.
